Mentre continua l'importante promozione in collaborazione con DigitalPersona, che fornisce gratuitamente i tre kit di sviluppo (One Touch for Windows, One Touch for Linux e One Touch I.D.) con l'acquisto di un solo sensore, di una tastiera o del pacchetto Alya di Covadis, vengono annunciati nuovi kit di sviluppo tra cui U.are.U UPOS for JavaPOS for Windows 1.1.0 ed il supporto .NET per One Touch for Windows SDK 1.2.0.

Le novità quindi comprendono le seguenti specifiche:

U.are.U UPOS for JavaPOS for Windows 1.1.0 (nuovo)

DigitalPersona U.are.U UPOS for JavaPOS for Windows version 1.1.0 is an initial release of a new product. It uses the same device driver and recognition engine as in One Touch for Windows SDK version 1.1.0.
DigitalPersona U.are.U UPOS for JavaPOS for Windows Version 1.1.0 is compatible with the following DigitalPersona products:

- DigitalPersona Pro for AD WS 4.2.0 and later
- DigitalPersona Pro Kiosk 4.2.0 and later

U.are.U UPOS for JavaPOS for Linux 1.1.0 (nuova release)
Software changes:
- Extracted JINI interface as a separate library file.
- Added Check Health function to sample code.

DigitalPersona U.are.U UPOS for JavaPOS for Linux version 1.1.0 is certified with the following variants of Linux distributions (For other variants of Linux 2.4 or 2.6 kernels, the user may recompile the source code in the product CD to obtain the corresponding kernel mode device driver for their Linux distribution.):

One Touch for Linux SDK 1.1.0 (nuova release)

DigitalPersona One Touch for Linux version 1.1.0 is certified with the following variants of Linux distributions (For other variants of Linux 2.4 or 2.6 kernels, the user may recompile the source code in the product CD to obtain the corresponding kernel mode device driver for their Linux distribution.):

DigitalPersona One Touch for Windows Version 1.2.0 is compatible with the following DigitalPersona products:
- DigitalPersona Pro for AD WS 4.2.0 and later
- DigitalPersona Pro Kiosk 4.2.0 and later
- DigitalPersona One Touch I.D. SDK 1.0.0
- DigitalPersona U.are.U 4000B fingerprint readers and modules
- DigitalPersona U.are.U 2500 fingerprint readers and modules
- DigitalPersona U.are.U Fingerprint Keyboard

DigitalPersona One Touch for Windows Version 1.2.0 is not compatible with any other DigitalPersona product.

Fingerprint templates produced by the One Touch for Windows SDK are also compatible with the following DigitalPersona SDKs:

- Gold CE SDK
- One Touch for Windows SDK, all editions
- One Touch for Linux SDK, all distributions

This version includes support for fingerprint authentication through Windows Terminal Services (including Remote Desktop Connection) and through a Citrix connection to Metaframe Presentation Server using a client from the Citrix Presentation Server Client package. The library file needed for Citrix support is not installed.

This version includes libraries to work for the following environments:

- Microsoft® Windows® XP, 32-bit and 64-bit versions; Microsoft® Windows® XP Embedded, 32-bit version1;
or Microsoft® Windows Vista®, 32-bit and 64-bit versions
- C / C++ development
- COM/ActiveX development (including Visual Basic)
- .Net development
